The LURM Research Centre is committed to scientific research in biomedicine. It was established in 1969 in the Hospital of Verona with the aim to meet the needs for research and diagnostics of Clinical Departments. In 2004 it became an Interdepartmental Research Center of the University of Verona. The founding principles of the Centre are to bring together researchers who are interested not only in the basic mechanisms of the pathogenic processes, but also in their clinical applications across a translational perspective.
